Robert Grantham

Robert Grantham is the Assistant General Manager of the Santa Margarita Water District, which is a regional water and wastewater district located in Southern California. The agency is nearing its strategic objective to recycle 100% of its wastewater and recently completed an Advanced Treatment Facility to deliver highly treated recycled water to Lake Mission Viejo, the first recreational lake in California to use Advanced Treated water for refill. Prior to joining the public sector, Robert was a Vice President at a national water resources engineering firm and ran its Business Solutions Group. In this role he oversaw four corporate-wide service areas – utility management; asset management; finance planning; and resource economics.  During his 20-year career, Robert has worked with over 200 municipalities throughout the United States.
